Repair Procedures: Installation

CAUTION:
Do not turn the ignition switch ON and do not connect the battery cable while replacing the front impact sensor.
- Install a new front impact sensor.
- Tighten the front impact sensor mounting nut.
Tightening torque:
8.0 ~ 10.0 N.m (0.82 ~ 1.02 kgf.m, 5.9 ~ 7.4 lb-ft)
- Connect the front impact sensor connector.
- Install the radiator assembly.
- Reconnect the battery negative cable.
- After installing the front impact sensor, confirm proper system operation:
Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should turn on for about six seconds and then go off.
