DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Open or short of power supply circuit
  2. Faulty HECU
Enable Conditions Case 1
  • If the valve relay is switched ON and the VR is lower than 5±0.5V continuously for 60 msec, the failure is detected
  • A failure is detected if the voltage difference between power side and load side of valve relay is greater than 1±0.15V longer than 60 msec

    VR: The voltage of valve relay
Case 2
  • If the valve relay is switched OFF and VR is higher than 6±0.5V or VR is lower than 2.5±0.5V continuously for 60 msec, the failure is detected
Fail Safe
  • The ABS/EBD/ESP (ESC)/DBC functions are inhibited
  • The ABS/EBD/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps are activated
