Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
(Refer to Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the rear seat back assembly.
(Refer to Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
- Loosen the mounting bolts and nuts and remove the rear back armrest (A).
- Disconnect the connector (A).NOTE:
- Twist the headrest guide to pull it out.
CAUTION:- Be careful not to damage the steel clip (B).
- Disconnect the rear curtain switch connector (A).
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "REAR CURTAIN SWITCH ")
- Remove the wiring mounting clips (A).
- After loosening the mounting bolts and nuts, remove the rear back armrest (A).
Tightening torque:
19.6 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 - 21.7 lb-ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
