Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:

Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

NOTE:

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the knob upper cover (A).
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the console upper cover (A).
Disconnect the main connector (A).
Remove the console armrest tray (A).
Remove the console armrest service cover (A).
Loosen the console armrest mounting bolts.
After loosening the mounting screws, remove the floor console armrest (A).
Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the floor console armrest (B).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Make sure the connector is connected properly.
Replace any damage clips.
