| Condition | After performing Vehicle Wide Programming, one or more modules may lose communication. |
| Cause | Individual modules may time out during the programming sequence, causing them to go into a boot state. These modules will need to be reprogrammed individually per the instructions in this document. |
CORRECTION
Cycle power to the affected module(s) and re attempt programming with SPS2.
1. Navigation to SPS > Select your controller > Programming> Click Next.
2. Stop on the calibration summary screen.
IMPORTANT:
Step 4 must be completed within 10 seconds of the completion of step 3. Failure to do so may result in a failed programming attempt.
3. Cycle power to the affected module by either removing and reinstalling the appropriate fuse, or disconnecting and reconnecting the module connector.
4. Within 10 seconds of reconnecting power to the module, in SPS2, click "Next" to initiate programming.
5. Upon programming completion, clear DTCs and verify communication has been restored to the affected controller.
