Circuit/System Description

The X98 Hybrid/EV Battery Charger Coupler contains 2 temperature sensors for the DC Charging port. The K16 Battery Energy Control Modulecompares values from all receptacle temperature sensors to determine if there are any issues with the X98 Hybrid/EV Battery Charger Coupler. If the K16 Battery Energy Control Module detects an issue, such as overheating, it disables DC charging until the set DTC is cleared.
