Removal Procedure
Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, remove the rear seat position center reading and courtesy lamp (1).
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Fold the left and right rear seat cushions (1) down.
Fold the left and right rear seat back cushions (1) down.
Remove the rear window (1) and place it in the designated storage cavity of the midgate.
Open the midgate (1).
Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.
- Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel- Left Side(1) - Reposition
Pull the body side rear window garnish molding (1) toward the inside of the vehicle to disengage the retaining clips (2) and the tether from the body.
- Access the body lock pillar upper trim panel bolt (3) on the backside of the body side rear window garnish molding (1).
- Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt- Left Side(3) - Remove
- Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding- Left Side(1) - Reposition
- NOTE:

Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.
- Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel- Right Side(1) - Reposition
- NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
Pull the body side rear window garnish molding (1) toward the inside of the vehicle to disengage the retaining clips (2) and the tether from the body.
- Access the body lock pillar upper trim panel bolt (3) on the backside of the body side rear window garnish molding (1).
- Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt- Right Side(3) - Remove
- Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding- Right Side(1) - Reposition
Open the latch for the rear window.
- Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Headlining Trim Panel Retainer Plate- Left Side and Right Side(1) - Remove [2x]
Lower the back portion of the headlining trim panel (2).
Release the retaining tabs.
- UHF Low Energy Remote Control Access Sensor Transceiver(1) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
The body side rear window garnish molding does not need to be fully removed from the vehicle.
