Removal Procedure

  1. GM6289587Courtesy of GENERAL MOTORS COMPANY

    Battery Negative Cable Nut (1) - Remove

  2. Battery Negative Cable Extension Cable (2) @ Battery Tray Stop Bolt (3) - Release
  3. Battery Negative Cable Extension Cable (2) - Reposition away

    Battery Tray Bolt (1) - Remove

  5. Battery Tray Stop Bolt (3) - Remove
  6. Battery Hold Down Strap (2) - Remove

    Disconnect the electrical connector.(1)

  8. Battery Negative Post Clamp Nut (3) - Loosen
  9. Battery Monitor Module (2) - Remove
