Installation Procedure

    Install the air suspension control module (3) on the air suspension control module manifold assembly (2).

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Install the air suspension control module manifold assembly (1) and air suspension control module as an assembly.

  4. Install and tighten the 2 automatic level control air compressor bolts (1). Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:

    The air suspension controller and the air lines are color coded for ease of installation.

    Electrical Connector (2) - Connect [3x]

  6. Install and tighten the 7 automatic level control air compressor tube fitting (1) to the air suspension control module manifold assembly. Fastener Specifications

    Automatic Level Control Module (1) - Install

    Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 

  9. Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Install the 4 automatic level control air compressor inlet tube retainers (3).

  11. Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Inlet Tube (2) - Install
  12. Install the hose clamp (1) on the automatic level control air compressor inlet tube (2). Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    Remove the automatic level control air supply reservoir coupling cap (1).

  14. Install CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator to the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve (2) and set the regulator on the nitrogen tank to 16 Bar (232 PSI).
  15. Using CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator, open the valve on the pressure gage to fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
  16. Using CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator and the shop nitrogen tank, fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir to 16 Bar (232 PSI).
  17. Close the pressure gauge valve and remove CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator from the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
  18. Install the automatic level control air supply reservoir coupling cap (1) and tighten. Fastener Specifications 
  19. Partially lower the vehicle, but DO NOT let the wheels touch the ground.
  20. Using GDS2 tool, use short-term inflate to increase pressure to the air springs:
    • Front: 6 Bar (87 PSI)
    • Rear: 5 Bar (73 PSI)
  21. Using GDS2, verify automatic level control air supply tank pressure is at 16 Bar (232 PSI), if not repeat steps 7 - 12.

    Underbody Rear Air Rear Deflector (1) - Install

    Underbody Rear Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Underbody Rear Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [17x] - Fastener Specifications

    Underbody Rear Air Deflector Retainer (1) - Install [3x]

    With the aid of an assistant, install the fascia. (1) Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (GQH / GQI / GQO) , or Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (GQ2 / GQB / GQC)

  27. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
