Unsuccessful Programing Recovery

In the event of an interrupted or unsuccessful programming event, perform the following steps:

1. Ensure the K4 Step Assist Control Module, DLC and programming tool connections are secure and the SPS software is up to date.
2. Vehicle Power Mode - Off.
3. Access SPS and follow the on-screen instructions for the K4 Step Assist Control Module.
4. Verify the K4 Step Assist Control Module can be reprogrammed.
   • If the K4 Step Assist Control Module cannot be reprogrammed 
   1. Cycle the Vehicle Power Mode OFF for greater than 1 minute.
   2. Access SPS and follow the on-screen instructions for the K4 Step Assist Control Module.
   3. Verify the K4 Step Assist Control Module can be reprogrammed.
      • If the K4 Step Assist Control Module cannot be reprogrammed, replace the K4 Step Assist Control Module.
      • Go to next step: If the K4 Step Assist Control Module can be reprogrammed.
   4. All Ok.
   • Go to next step: If the K4 Step Assist Control Module can be reprogrammed 
5. All Ok.
