Installation Procedure
- Feed the exhaust gas recirculation cooler temperature sensor through the turbocharger heat shield.
Turbocharger Heat Shield (1) - Reposition
Apply anti-seize compound to threads of the exhaust gas recirculation cooler temperature sensor (2). Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Turbocharger Heat Shield Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] - Fastener Specifications
