Installation Procedure
Exhaust Front Hanger (2) @ Exhaust Front Bracket (3) - Install
- Exhaust Hanger Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Exhaust Front Bracket (2) - Install
- Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] - Fastener Specifications
Position the wiring harness (2) in place and install the wring harness retainer (1) to the exhaust front bracket.
Exhaust System Front Gasket (2) - Install NEW
- Nitrogen Oxides Catalytic Converter (1) - Install
Exhaust Front Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] - Fastener Specifications
Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket (3) - Install
- Wiring Harness Retainer (2) @ Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket (3) - Install
- Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] - Fastener Specifications
Exhaust Front Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] - Fastener Specifications
Exhaust Pipe Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
- CAUTION:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .
NOTE:Coat the threads with anti-seize compound. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Exhaust Particulate Sensor (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
Coat the threads with anti-seize compound. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Nitrogen Oxides Sensor- Position 3 (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
Coat the threads with anti-seize compound. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Nitrogen Oxides Sensor- Position 2 (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Front Wheelhouse Liner-Right Side - Install - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
- Inspect the exhaust system for leaks.
- Perform the catalyst reset procedure. Catalyst Reset
- Perform the nitrogen oxides catalyst reductant loading reset procedure. Nitrogen Oxides Catalytic Converter Reductant Loading Reset
- Perform the nitrogen oxides catalytic converter reset procedure. Nitrogen Oxides Catalytic Converter Reset
