Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system.

    Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) , or

    Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .

  2. Engine Mount-Right Side - Remove - Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side
  3. Water Pump Pulley - Remove - Water Pump Pulley Replacement

    Water Pump Bolt (1) - Remove [ 6x ]

    Water Pump (1) - Remove

  6. Water Pump Gasket (2) - Remove and DISCARD
  7. Carefully clean the water pump sealing surfaces.
