Installation Procedure

  1. Reposition both floor jacks and blocks of wood in order to allow a 1/8 inch gap between the mount and bracket.
  2. Shake the powertrain vigorously by hand from front to rear and allow the powertrain to settle.
  3. Tighten the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1). Engine Mount Replacement

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Refer to the procedure link for torque specification.

  4. Transmission Mount Bolt (1) - Tighten in sequence [4x] - Transmission Mount Replacement

  5. Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  6. Front Transmission Mount Through Bolt (1) - Tighten - Transmission Front Mount Replacement

    NOTE:

    Refer to the procedure link for torque specification.

  7. Rear Transmission Mount Through Bolt (1) - Tighten - Transmission Rear Mount Replacement

    NOTE:

    Refer to the procedure link for torque specification.

  8. Remove the jack stands and wood blocks supporting the engine and transaxle from underneath the powertrain.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
