Installation Procedure

  1. Intake Manifold Gasket (1) - Install NEW

  2. Intake Manifold (3) - Move into position
  3. Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor - Install - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Replacement

  4. Intake Manifold (3) - Install

    NOTE:

    Install the intake manifold upside down as it was removed, and rotate into position.

  5. Upper Intake Manifold Bolt (2) - Loosely install [5x]
  6. Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  7. Lower Intake Manifold Bolt (1) - Loosely install

  8. Intake Manifold Bolt - Tighten (6x) - Intake Manifold Installation 
  9. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Seal (4) - Install NEW [2x]

    NOTE:

    Inspect the O-ring and replace if necessary.

  10. Install the positive crankcase ventilation valve - fresh (3).
  11. Install the positive crankcase ventilation valve - secondary (2).
  12. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Bolt (1) - Install [2x] - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Replacement (Rear) , or Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Replacement (Front) 
  13. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Intake Manifold - Install [2x]

  14. Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  15. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Intake Manifold - Install [2x]

  16. Engine Wiring Harness (4) - Reposition

  17. Electrical Connector (3) - Connect
  18. Electrical Connector (2) - Connect
  19. Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
  20. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Intake Manifold - Install [2x]

  21. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose @ Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe - Connect - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LCV)
  22. Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose (3) @ Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe - Install - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LCV)

  23. Throttle Body Assembly (2) - Install - Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

  24. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (1) - Install - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement

  25. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose (1) Install - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement

  26. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (2) - Install - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
