Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify there are no other DTCs set, except for DTC C2A3B.
    • If the DTC is not set 

      All OK.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is set 
  3. Test drive the vehicle. = Greater than 20 km/h (13 MPH) - For 1 km (.7 mi)
  4. Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems - Off = Greater than 2 min
  5. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
  6. Clear DTCs
  7. Verify DTC C2A3B is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 
    1. Test or inspect for the following: Brake Pedal = Binding or Sticking

      Refer to Brake System Slow Release

    2. Perform the scan tool control function: Brake Hydraulics Test
    3. Test drive the vehicle. = Greater than 20 km/h (13 MPH) - For 1 km (.7 mi)
    4. Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems - Off = Greater than 2 min
    5. Clear DTCs
    6. Verify DTC C2A3B is not set.
      • If the DTC is set

        Test or replace the component: A104 Brake Master Cylinder

      • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set

        Go to next step: All OK

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  8. All OK.
