Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

    Open the battery fuse block cover. (3)

  3. Front Compartment Fuse Block Cable Nut (2) - Remove
  4. Battery Positive Cable (1) - Remove

    Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Loosen

  6. Release the retaining tabs. (2)
  7. Front Compartment Fuse Block (3) - Reposition away

    Battery Hold Down Retainer Nut (1) - Remove

  9. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Remove

    Battery Hold Down Retainer Rod (1) - Remove

  11. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Remove

    Remove the battery. (1)
