Removal Procedure

    Generator Shield (3) - Remove - Generator Shield Replacement (LCV)

    Install the generator nut (1) and finger tighten.

    Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

    Drive Belt (1) - Remove - Drive Belt Replacement

  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Protective Cap (1) - Remove

  7. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) @Generator - Remove
    8. NOTE:

    Anti-rotation tab is in the 12 o'clock position (arrow).

  8. Battery Positive Cable (3) - Remove

    Generator Nut (1) - Remove

  10. If necessary, remove the generator mounting stud (2).
  11. Generator (3) - Remove
