Component Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the appropriate electrical connector: B71R Liftgate Object Sensor - RightorB71L Liftgate Object Sensor - Left
  3. Test for 8k ohms to 12 kohms between the test points:Signal terminal 1 & Low Reference terminal 2 - Not Pressed
    • If not between 8k and 12k ohms 

      Replace the component:B71R Liftgate Object Sensor - RightorB71L Liftgate Object Sensor - Left

    • Go to next step: If between 8k and 12k ohms 
  4. All OK.
