Installation Procedure

    Position the automatic transmission control (2) on the steering column.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the automatic transmission control bolts (1) and tighten to 12 - 14 N.m (106 - 124 lb in).

    Connect the automatic transmission park lock cable (2) to the ignition lock cylinder case.

    1. Place the ignition lock cylinder in the OFF-LOCK position.
    2. Place the automatic transmission control in the PARK position.
    3. Push the automatic transmission park lock cable into the ignition lock cylinder case until the lock tab engages.
  4. Install the automatic transmission park lock cable lock clip (1).
  5. Connect the range selector lever cable. Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement

    Connect the automatic transmission shift lock control solenoid (1) to the automatic transmission control bracket. Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control Actuator Replacement

    Install the automatic transmission range selector lever cable lever. Range Selector Lever Cable Lever Replacement 

  8. Steering Column - Install - Steering Column Replacement
