Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel pump control module (2) to the bracket.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the fasteners (1) to the fuel pump control module bracket and torque to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  3. Connect the electrical connector (2) and install the red tab (1).

  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (L96 LC8)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (L83)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (L5P) .
