Installation Procedure

  1. Lightly lubricate the rear wheel speed sensor O-ring with rear axle lubricant. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
  2. GM3256155

    Install the rear wheel speed sensor assembly to the rear axle.

    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the rear wheel speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 13 N.m (115 lb in).
  4. GM3256153

    Install the rear wheel speed sensor harness retainers (1) to the frame and rear axle.

  5. GM3256152

    Connect the rear wheel speed sensor electrical connector and install the retainer (1) to the frame rail.

  7. Perform the diagnostic system check. Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
