Removal Procedure
- Disconnect Power Brake Booster Vacuum Pipe@Vacuum Pump Assembly - Power Brake Booster Vacuum Pipe Replacement (LYX)
- Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement

- Remove the vacuum pump bolts (1).

- Remove the vacuum pump (1).
- Remove and DISCARD the vacuum pump gasket (2).
- Inspect the vacuum pump seal (3) and replace if necessary. Vacuum Pump Seal Replacement

- If replacing the vacuum pump, turn the NEW vacuum pump shaft (1) to match the position of the OLD vacuum pump shaft to allow proper alignment with the engine camshaft.
