Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Generator, Nut And Bolt

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  1. If necessary, install the generator mounting stud. (3) - Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  2. Install Generator (4).
  3. Install Generator Nut (2) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Install Generator Bolt (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  5. Connect Electrical Connector (1).
  6. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  7. Install Generator Bolt (4) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  8. Install Starter Solenoid Cable (1).
  9. Install Generator Nut (3) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  10. Install Protective Cap (2).
  11. Install Drive Belt (1) - Drive Belt Replacement
  12. Lower the vehicle.
  13. If necessary, connect the fuel feed pipe. Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement
  14. Intake Manifold Cover -Intake Manifold Cover Replacement

  15. Install Air Cleaner Assembly (2) -Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
  16. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
