Circuit/System Description

The lane departure warning is controlled by the frontview camera module mounted on the windshield. The lane departure warning is enabled and disabled through a switch located in the steering wheel. The switch is part of a ladder resistor for the signal circuit. When enabled, the frontview camera module or Active Safety Control Module will illuminate the indicator located in the switch by providing a low reference control to the indicator.
