Installation Procedure

  1. GM4296734

    Fuse Block (1) - Install

  2. GM4572758

    When installing the battery positive cable clamp to the battery positive post, make sure the clamp is seated correctly on the post.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  4. GM4296731

    Battery Positive Junction Block Cable Nut (3) - Install and tighten 16 N.m (12 lb ft)

  5. Positive Battery Cable Terminal Nut-Large (2) - Install and tighten 16 N.m (12 lb ft)
  6. Positive Battery Cable Terminal Nut-Small (1) - Install and tighten (Qty: 2) 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  7. GM4296729

    Body Wiring Harness Terminal Nut (2) - Install and tighten (Qty: 4) 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  8. Body Wiring Harness Connector (1) - Connect
  9. GM4296726

    Battery Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install

  10. Connect the battery negative cable. - Connect - Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
