Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  2. GM4290118

    { If equipped }Front Suspension 4 Corner Leveling System Position Sensor (1)@Front Lower Control Arm - Separate - Front Suspension 4 Corner Leveling System Position Sensor Replacement

  3. GM4280901

    Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut(1) - Loosen

  4. GM4280902

    Use the CH-42188-B  separator (1) to separate the front lower control arm from the steering knuckle.

  5. Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut(2) - Remove
  6. GM4280904

    Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt(1) - Remove[2x]

    DISCARD the bolts.

  7. GM4280907

    Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nut(1) - Remove[2x]

  8. Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt(2) - Remove[2x]

    DISCARD the bolts.

  9. GM4376377

    Remove the front lower control arm (1) from the vehicle.
