Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the battery positive cable (3) to the underhood fuse block stud and tighten the fastener (2) to 15 N.m (133 lb in).
  2. Install the underhood fuse block battery positive cable cover (1).

  3. Install the battery positive cable (2), along the plenum front panel (3), with the battery positive cable retainers (1).

  4. Install the battery positive cable (3) to the battery fuse block stud and tighten the fastener (2) to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
  5. Install the battery fuse block cover (1).
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) .
