Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Retainer, Battery Negative Cable And Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt

  1. Install Battery Negative Cable (3)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  3. Engage Retainer Clip (2)

  4. Install Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt (1) and tighten 45 N.m (33 lb ft)

  5. Engage Retainer (1)
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery)
