Preliminary Procedure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Reposition the engine control module bracket/battery hold-down retainer. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement
.
- Remove the positive battery cable from the battery post. Refer to Battery Positive Cable Replacement (LEA) Battery Positive Cable Replacement (LFX)
- Remove the push in retainers from the front portion of the left front bumper fascia opening cover and reposition the cover. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Opening Cover Replacement (Terrain)Front Bumper Fascia Opening Cover Replacement (Equinox)
