Raise and properly support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (LCV) .

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in)

Crankshaft Position Sensor

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the crankshaft position sensor.
If installing a new sensor, perform the crankshaft position system variation learn procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position Variation Learn .
