Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

  2. Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Duct (3)Charge Air Cooler Outlet Duct Replacement

  3. Remove the engine coolant fan rear shroud upper bolts. (1)Engine Coolant Fan Rear Shroud Replacement (LWN)

  5. Remove Generator Terminal Protective Boot (1)
  6. Remove Generator Nut (2)
  7. Remove Battery Positive Cable (3)
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector.(4)

  10. Remove the generator.(2)
