Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Generator And Generator Bolt

  1. Install the generator. (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install Generator Bolt (1) and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

  3. Connect the electrical connector.(4)
  4. Install Battery Positive Cable (3)
  5. Install Generator Nut (2) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  6. Install Generator Terminal Protective Boot (1)

  7. Install Drive Belt (2)Drive Belt Replacement

  8. Install the engine coolant fan rear shroud upper bolts. (1)Engine Coolant Fan Rear Shroud Replacement (LWN)

  9. Install Charge Air Cooler Outlet Duct (3)Charge Air Cooler Outlet Duct Replacement
  10. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
