Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Fuse Block

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Position the fuse block housing (2) to the vehicle. Install the cable and cable nut (1) to the fuse block (2). Tighten cable nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  2. Install the fuse block (2) to the bracket and secure the 6 retainer tabs (1).

  3. Install the fuse block bolts (1). Tighten bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  4. Install the starter generator cable (2), install the starter generator cable nut (1). Tighten cable nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  5. Push the upper latch to the right (arrow) and install the cover (1) to the block, insuring the 2 tab on the cover are secure.
  6. Install the engine wiring harness block cover. Refer to Engine Wiring Harness Fuse Block Cover Replacement 
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  8. Install the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .
