Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

  2. Open the battery fuse block cover. (3)
  3. Remove Front Compartment Fuse Block Cable Nut (2)
  4. Remove Battery Positive Cable (1)

  5. Loosen Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1)
  6. Release the retaining tabs. (2)
  7. Reposition away Front Compartment Fuse Block (3)

  8. Remove Battery Hold Down Retainer Nut (1)
  9. Remove Battery Hold Down Retainer (2)

  10. Remove Battery Hold Down Retainer Rod (1)

  12. Remove the battery. (1)
