Installation Procedure

  1. Carefully install the battery sensor along with the battery negative cable to the vehicle. (1)

  3. Connect Battery Current Sensor Connector (1)

  5. Install Battery Negative Cable (3)
  6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  7. Install Battery Negative Cable Fastener (2) and tighten 13 N.m (115 lb in)
  8. Close the battery fuse block cover (1)

  10. Install Battery Negative Cable (1)
  11. Install Battery Negative Cable Ground Fastener (2) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  12. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  14. Install Battery Negative Cable (1)
  15. Install Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Fastener (2) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  17. Connect the EPS connector (2) to the battery negative cable connector (1) and attach to the front crossmember.

  19. Install Battery Negative Cable (1)
  20. Install Engine Ground Cable Stud (1) and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  21. Install Underbody Splash Shield Replacement (without ZR2)Underbody Splash Shield Replacement (with ZR2) .
  22. Lower the vehicle.
  23. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
