Installation Procedure

  1. Hand start the glow plugs (1) into the cylinder head.
      CAUTION:

      Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

    2. Tighten the glow plugs to 14 N.m (10 lb ft).

  2. Connect Diesel Glow Plug Wiring Harness (3) (Qty: 4) @ Glow Plug
  3. Reposition Diesel Fuel Separator (2)
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install and tighten Diesel Fuel Separator Bracket Fastener (1) to 7 N.m (62 lb in)
  5. Install Fuel Injector Deadener. Refer to Fuel Injector Deadener Replacement
