Priming Procedure

The electric fuel pump in the fuel tank is used to prime the complete fuel system utilizing the following procedure:

  1. Turn ON the Ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Wait 10 - 30 seconds for the system to prime.
  3. Turn OFF the ignition.
  4. Wait the ECM reset time.
  5. Repeat steps 1 through 4.
  6. After repeating steps 1 and 2, start the engine.
