Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  2. Fig 1: Front Suspension 4 Corner Leveling System Position Sensor

  3. {If equipped}, Separate Front Suspension 4 Corner Leveling System Position Sensor (1) @ Front Lower Control Arm. Refer to Front Suspension 4 Corner Leveling System Position Sensor Replacement

  5. Loosen Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1)

  7. Use the CH-42188-B  separator (1) to separate the front lower control arm from the steering knuckle.
  8. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (2)

  10. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolts (1) (Qty: 2)

    DISCARD the bolts.

  12. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nuts (1) (Qty: 2)
  13. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolts (2) (Qty: 2)

    DISCARD the bolts.

  15. Remove the front lower control arm (1) from the vehicle.
