Preliminary Procedure Remove the heater and air conditioning mode control cam cover assembly. Refer to Mode Control Cam Cover Replacement .
1	Mode Control Cam Procedure Going through the center of the mode control cam, release the mode control cam detent using the appropriate tool to remove the cam from the mode valve actuator.
