Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Generator Nut, Bolt And Electrical Connector

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  1. If necessary, install the generator mounting stud. (3) Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  2. Install Generator (4)
  3. Install Generator Nut (2) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Install Generator Bolt (5) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. Connect Connect Electrical Connector (1)

  7. Install Generator Bolt (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  9. Install Battery Positive Cable (3)
  10. Install Generator Nut (2) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  11. Install Protective Cap (1)

  13. Install Drive Belt (1) Drive Belt Replacement
  14. Lower the vehicle.

  18. Install Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct (2) Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement
  19. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
