Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Generator And Nut

  1. Install Generator (3)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. If necessary, install the generator mounting stud. (2) Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  3. Hand tighten Generator Nut (1)

  4. Connect Electrical Connector (1)

  5. Install Drive Belt (1) Drive Belt Replacement
  6. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    NOTE:

    Anti-rotation tab is in the 12 o'clock position (arrow).

  7. Install Battery Positive Cable (3)
  8. Install Generator Nut (2) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  9. Install Protective Cap (1)
  10. Lower the vehicle.

  11. Remove the generator nut (1).
