Installation Procedure

  1. Install Front Suspension Strut (1)
    2. Fig 2: Front Suspension Strut Mount Bolt

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install and tighten Front Suspension Strut Mount Bolt (1) (Qty: 3) 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
  3. Install Front Bumper Fascia Opening Cover - Front Bumper Fascia Opening Cover Replacement (Terrain)Front Bumper Fascia Opening Cover Replacement (Equinox)
    4. Fig 3: Front Suspension Strut Nut

  4. Install Front Suspension Strut Bolt (2) (Qty: 2)
  5. Install and tighten Front Suspension Strut Nut (1) (Qty: 2) 185 N.m (137 lb ft)

  6. Install Front Brake Hose Bracket (2) @ Strut Assembly - Front Brake Hose Replacement

  7. Install Front Stabilizer Shaft Link (2) @ Strut Assembly - Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement 
  8. Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
