Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    The front lower control arm must be clean and free of debris before installing the NEW front lower control arm ball joint.

  1. Position the NEW front lower control arm ball joint (1) on the front lower control arm.
  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:
    • Only use the hardware provided with the NEW front lower control arm ball joint.
    • The NEW front lower control arm ball joint bolts MUST be installed with the bolt head on the top side of the front lower control arm ball joint.
    • The holes on the NEW front lower control arm ball joint MUST be enlarged to 12 mm (31/64 in) to accommodate the NEW front lower control arm ball joint bolts.
  3. Install the NEW front lower control arm ball joint bolts (2) and NEW nuts (3) and tighten to 68 N.m (50 lb ft).
  4. Install Front Lower Control Arm - Lower Control Arm Replacement
