Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. It may take up to 2 minutes for all vehicle systems to power down
- Disconnect the harness connectors at both the P22E Video Display - Driver Seatback and the P22F Video Display - Passenger Seatback.
- Test for 190-210 HZ DC between the control circuit terminal 16 and ground at each display.
- If not between 190-210 HZ DC.
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X3 harness connector at the A11 Radio.
- Ignition ON.
- Test for less than 1 V between the control circuit and ground.
- If 1 V or greater, repair the short to voltage on the circuit.
- If less than 1 V
- Ignition OFF.
- Test for infinite resistance between the control circuit and ground.
- If less than infinite resistance, repair the short to ground on the circuit.
- If infinite resistance
- Test for less than 2 Ω in the control circuit end to end.
- If 2 Ω or greater, repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
- If less than 2 Ω, replace the A11 Radio.
- If between 190-210 HZ DC.
- Ignition OFF. Connect the harness connector at the P22E Video Display - Driver Seatback.
- Ignition ON, radio ON, DVD playing.
- Test for 190-210 HZ DC between the video brightness control circuit terminal 16 and ground at the P22F Video Display - Passenger Seatback.
- If not between 190-210 HZ DC.
Test or replace the P22E Video Display - Driver Seatback.
- If between 190-210 HZ DC.
- If not between 190-210 HZ DC.
- Test or replace the P22F Video Display - Passenger Seatback.
