Preliminary Procedure Remove the instrument panel insulator, left side. 1	Instrument Panel Lamp Dimmer Switch Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. From underneath, carefully insert a long appropriate tool into the switch bracket from the inner side of the instrument panel and release the tabs fastening the dimmer switch to the dimmer switch bracket. At the same time, push forward on the switch from a surface side to separate it from the tabs. Use care not to damage the bracket while releasing the fastening tabs.

Instrument Panel Lamp Dimmer Switch

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
From underneath, carefully insert a long appropriate tool into the switch bracket from the inner side of the instrument panel and release the tabs fastening the dimmer switch to the dimmer switch bracket. At the same time, push forward on the switch from a surface side to separate it from the tabs. Use care not to damage the bracket while releasing the fastening tabs.
