Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to Brake Dust Warning .

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
    2. Fig 1: Retaining Clips

  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor harness electrical connector.
  3. Release the wheel speed sensor harness from the retaining clips (1) on the vehicle frame.

  4. Release the wheel speed sensor harness clip (1) from the rear axle.

  5. Thoroughly clean the wheel speed sensor mounting area of the rear axle of any dirt and debris.
  6. Remove the rear wheel speed sensor bolt (1).
  7. Carefully remove the wheel speed sensor from the rear axle by pulling straight outward.
