The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

CONDITION/CONCERN

Some customers may comment that they can see the Service Engine Soon (SES) lamp dimly illuminated while the engine is running.

They may also comment the indicator is not illuminated at all when the ignition is in the off position. There will be no DTCs set and the concern may only be noticed in dark conditions.

This concern will affect vehicles built on or around 8/1/14 through 2/28/15.

RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS

Replace IPC using an exchange part ordered after 3/20/15 (stock was purged from exchange center on 3/20/15).
