Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Place the window in the fully down position.
2. Remove rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the rear side door garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Garnish Molding Replacement .
4. Remove the rear side door inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .

Procedure

1. Pull the rear side door window weatherstrip from the channel.
2. Apply masking tape to the applique to protect the finish.
3. Remove the rear side door water deflector.
4. Position window to access the rear side door window regulator guide nuts.

Procedure

1. In order to remove the window out of the frame, carefully grasp and tilt the window as you guide the window up and forward.
2. Install the window to left and right side of the channel before operating the window.
3. Inspect the operation of the window before installing the door trim panel.
4. Ensure that the window is fully seated into the rear side door window weatherstrip .
