Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:

Refer to Diagnostic Aids before performing Circuit/System Verification below.

  1. Observe the scan tool Lane Departure Warning Switch Status parameter while pressing the lane departure warning switch. The parameter should change between OPEN and CLOSED.
    • If the parameter does not change between the specified values, refer to Lane Departure Warning Switch Malfunction in Circuit/System Testing below.
  2. Observe the switch indicator while cycling the lane departure warning switch. The indicator should turn ON and OFF when cycling between the commanded states.
    • If the indicator does not turn ON and OFF, refer to Lane Departure Warning Switch Indicator Malfunction in Circuit/System Testing below.
  3. Inspect the area of the K109 Front View Camera Module for contamination.
    • If it needs to be cleaned, clean the windshield.
